1. Should a traditionally perceived sculptural monument to Freedom stand in the square? |
• A traditional sculptural monument should not stand in the square. |
2. What functions besides memorial one could be developed in the square? Perhaps there exist alternative |
forms which may embody the symbol of Freedom? |
• The main function of the square is to represent the idea of freedom (free thought) and independence. |
I suppose temporary art projects involving the townspeople as well should be implemented in this square. |
3. What mood should the space of the Lukiskiu Square create? |
• Mood – the sense of freedom. |
4. What colours, textures, materials and objects should predominate in the square? |
• As many natural materials should be used in the square as possible. The main material – water. |
5. What part of the square should be occupied by plants? |
• I believe the most part of plants should be replaced by a large quantity of water. |
6. Should the space of Lukiskiu Square be solid or visually divided into several parts? |
• The space of Lukiskiu Square is a solid, smooth, organic, natural and minimalist. |
7. Is it possible to build houses in Lukiskiu Square? |
• It is not possible to build houses in Lukiskiu Square. |
